TURKSOY holds jubilee concert in St. Petersburg

Istanbul, January 7 (AZERTAC). The International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) has held an exclusive concert marking the 20th anniversary of its founding in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

Called “Eastern music legends”, the concert saw the Andreyev State Russian Orchestra (former Imperial Russian Orchestra) perform works by Azerbaijani composer Arif Malikov, Kazakh M. Tolebayev and Tatar F. Yarullin.

Azerbaijani soloist Ilaha Efendiyeva was amongst the performers.
