Ukraine hosts concert dedicated to Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis
Baku, December 28 (AZERTAC). A concert dedicated to the Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis has been held in “Farida Plaza” in Vinnitsa, the city of Ukraine.
The ceremony organized by the Ukrainian Azerbaijani Youth Union (UACB) in Vinnitsa brought together the Vinnitsa Regional State Administration officials, representatives of mayor’s office and local council of deputies, diaspora organizations and journalists.
Attending the event chairman of UACB Emin Adigozalov briefed the participants on the history of the Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis. He said this day was established at the initiative of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Chief of the Ukrainian Azerbaijani Youth Union Anar Tahirov spoke of the friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine.
He noted 2013 was one of the most important years for the Azerbaijani state and people. Major projects were implemented for social and economic development of the country.
The event continued with a concert program.
