USTDA-SOCAR GRANT AGREEMENT SUBMITTED TO MILLI MAJLIS
The draft Law on approval on the Grant Agreement between the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) has been submitted for consideration by the Milli Majlis.
According to Valeh Alasgarov, Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis and Chair of its Standing Committee on Natural Resources, Energy and Environment Affairs, under the Agreement, USTDA allocates 1.7 million grant to SOCAR for feasibility study of the Trans-Caspian oil and gas pipeline projects.
The Agreement also envisages that Azerbaijan provides the contractor with local transport means and office and secretarial services.
