UZBEKISTAN OPENS NEW WAYS IN SEA PORTS
Uzbekistan is actively engaged in opening transport routes within the frameworks of TRACECA program, AzerTAj correspondent reports from Tashkent. “Business- bulletin of the East” published in the Uzbec capital, writes the currently functioning first route connects Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Georgia, the second project envisages connecting Kazakh port of Aktau to Azerbaijan, and the third one is expected to link Ust-Yurd region on the north-west Uzbekistan with Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine and ended up in German port of Hamburg.
Uzbekistan is also involved the restoration of the transport infrastructure of Afghanistan. Uzbek Constructors have built 10 bridges in this country. Trilateral agreement no construction of the transport corridor signed between Uzbekistan, Iran and Afghanistan will allow to reach the countries of Middle Asia, Persian and Oman gulfs and Indian Ocean.
