VIENNA FORUM OF AZERBAIJANI STUDENTS WRAPS UP
Vienna Forum of Azerbaijani Students studying in Central and Eastern Europe was held under the motto
“We are the future!” on March 25-26.
The second day of the forum focused on the reports of working groups and discussions on the agenda.
Political scientist living in Hungary Vugar Seyidov and representative of the Austrian Defense Academy Martin Malek spoke about the history of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, international community`s stance on the conflict, and aspects compared with other conflicts.
Milli Majlis deputy Rovshan Rzayev told of the legal aspects of the conflict, saying Armenian disregards UN resolutions.
Azerbaijan`s ambassador in Austria Fuad Ismayilov said the Vienna forum is a follow-up to similar forums so far held in European cities (Brussels, Berlin, Paris etc)
Diplomat noted that youngsters who gathered in Vienna from Eastern and Central European countries can share their views with businessmen, politicians and scholars.
The two-day forum heard reports on the role of youth in development of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan`s integration into Europe, importance of Azerbaijan in ensuring Europe`s energy security, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, role of Azerbaijani youth in the cross-cultural and interreligious dialogue in Europe and other topics.
