Vienna to host 9th OPEC International Seminar in July 2025

The 9th OPEC International Seminar will take place on 9–10 July 2025 at the iconic Hofburg Palace in Vienna, Austria, under the theme “Charting Pathways Together: The Future of Global Energy.”
Recognized as one of the premier events in the global energy industry, the OPEC International Seminar brings together high-level participants including ministers from OPEC Member Countries and nations participating in the Declaration of Cooperation, alongside representatives from energy-producing and consuming countries, heads of international organizations, CEOs of leading companies, financial institutions, policymakers, academics, experts, and prominent journalists.
Since the first seminar in 1969, OPEC has continuously expanded the event’s scope, making it a key platform for dialogue and collaboration across the energy sector. The current series, launched in 2001, has played a significant role in addressing critical industry challenges and shaping the global energy agenda.
The 2023 edition of the seminar attracted more than 1,000 participants from around the world, including 17 ministers and heads of delegation, 18 CEOs, 13 leaders of international organizations, and representatives of major international media outlets.
