VISA to support digitalization of economy and entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan

Mikayil Jabbarov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy, met with Cristina Doros, Senior Vice President for the CIS, Eastern and South-Eastern European countries at VISA.
“During our meeting with Cristina Doros, Senior Vice President for the CIS, Eastern and South-Eastern European countries at Visa, we exchanged views on prospects for cooperation, the development of the digital payments ecosystem, and support mechanisms for small and medium-sized businesses.
As part of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Economy and VISA. This Memorandum will contribute to broadening access to modern financial solutions in Azerbaijan and advancing financial inclusion,” Minister Jabbarov said on X.
