“VISIONS OF AZERBAIJAN AND BRITAIN” MAGAZINE PRESENTED
Chairman of the Azerbaijan-UK Youth Organization Taleh Bagiyev said the magazine was founded jointly by the Azerbaijan London Society, Azerbaijani-UK Youth Organization, British Business Group operating in Azerbaijan and printing house Chashoglu.. The primary purpose is to disseminate information about Azerbaijan in the Great Britain and vice versa.
UK ambassador to Azerbaijan Laurie Bristow expressed his confidence that the magazine will contribute much to the Azerbaijan-UK relations.
Chairman of the London Azerbaijan Society Tale Heydarov stressed an importance of publishing the magazine and noted it will play a key role in spreading information in the Great Britain about Azerbaijani history, culture and economic potential.
This magazine will provide information for the British MPs, politicians, researchers and Azerbaijanis residing in UK. Besides, the magazine will bring the truth on the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict to the UK society and present the researches concerning Azerbaijan-UK relations.
Editor of the magazine, former director of the BBC monitoring in Baku Anne Thompson and chairman of the State Committee on Family, Women and Children Hijran Huseynova addressed the ceremony.
