WAC RELEASES STATEMENT OPPOSING ARMENIAN GENOCIDE RESOLUTION
“Despite the facts of the atrocities periodically committed by Armenians are obvious, Azerbaijan and the Turkic world in general continue to remain under pressure,” the statement said.
It claimed that starting “early in the last century, our nation has been experiencing terrible tragedies.”
“Discovered in Guba and Neftchala regions of Azerbaijan the sites of massive burials of innocent people brutally killed by Armenian dashnaks in 1918 as well as one of the last century’s most terrible tragedies in the town of Khojaly are irrefutable facts exposing the very essence of the Armenianism,” the statement also said.
According to it, not only Turks and Azerbaijanis but also Jews and representatives of other nationals were among those brutally killed by the Armenians.
In the statement, the WAC expressed regret that the global community still has its eyes shut to this injustice, and does not take any measure against the aggressor but discusses and takes decisions on the so-called “Armenian genocide” that never was.
“The Azerbaijan office of the World Azerbaijanis Congress strongly condemn the unfair resolution and calls on the world community not to shut its eyes to atrocities committed by the Armenian dashnaks against Azerbaijan and the whole Turkish nation,” the statement concluded.
