14th meeting of GUAM`s TTF project kicks off in Baku
Baku, May 25 (AZERTAC). The 14th meeting of GUAM`s Trade and Transport Facilitation (TTF) Project Steering Committee has today started here.
The event has brought together customs and border services representatives of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova.
Deputy Chief of State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan Asgar Abdullayev noted the aim of the event was to discuss what had been done to realize the TTF project and future plans.
It was noted a National Plan for realization of this project covering 2007-2011 was approved in member states. The National Plan provides for issues on how to improve trade relations among the states.
The speakers noted one of the main tasks was to create infrastructure in passage stations and implementation of electronic customs control system. Great progress was achieved in relevant sphere in Azerbaijan.
