18 dead, dozens wounded in two road accidents in Pakistan

In Pakistan, at least 18 people lost their lives while over three dozen got injured in two separate road mishaps on Monday.
In a tragic accident 10 people were killed and 22 injured as a passenger bus overturned on the M-14 Motorway near Pakistan Capital, the Motorway Police said. According to reports, the bus was on its way to Islamabad. The accident took place in Punjab Province’s Attock District near Islamabad.
The dead bodies and wounded have been shifted to local hospitals. As per rescue and police officials, the accident was reportedly caused by the bus driver's negligence and over speeding. The authorities and Police have ordered an investigation to ascertain the actual cause of the accident.
Meanwhile, a van and truck collided near Moro city in Sindh province killing eight people. According to rescue officials 13 people were injured in the accident which took place on the M-6 Motorway during the wee hours.
It is worth mentioning that road accidents are common in Pakistan and are mostly caused by the over speeding, negligence of drivers and in many cases the poor road and weather conditions.
