AC MILAN IN TALKS TO BUY BARCELONA`s ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC
Baku, August 26 (AZERTAC). Barcelona striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be set to return to Italy with AC Milan - according to Rossoneri vice-president Adriano Galliani.
Both Barca and the Swede, who moved to the Nou Camp from Inter Milan for £35m in 2009, are said to be keen on a move.
Galliani said negotiations are “very complex, difficult and very expensive” but confirmed he will meet Barcelona president Sandro Rosell on Thursday.
Ibrahimovic, 28, is thought to have a £216m buy-out clause in his contract.
The Swedish international spent three years at Inter Milan and joined Barca, with Samuel Eto`o moving the other way to the Italian club, on a five-year deal.
AC Milan representatives are already in Catalonia after the two sides drew 1-1 in a friendly at the Nou Camp on Wednesday, with goals from Barca`s summer signing David Villa and Italian veteran Filippo Inzaghi.
Galliani told AC Milan`s official website: “Negotiations will continue on Thursday. At noon I have an appointment with the president of Barcelona. Let`s see.”
“The negotiations are very complex but the relationship with Sandro Rosell is really good and he is very nice.
“Barca are willing to sell or loan the player, he is willing to come to Milan but we are talking about a mountain of money in the middle of a crisis.”
