ADA hosts panel discussion on sustainable development prospects

The second panel discussion on “Sustainable Development Prospects: Economic and Climate Diplomacy, Energy Security and Connectivity” was held on the sidelines of the 9th meeting of the Azerbaijani diplomatic service bodies, organized by ADA University under the theme “Azerbaijan’s Foreign Policy After the Restoration of Sovereignty: Priorities and Challenges.”
Mikayil Jabbarov, Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy, Rashad Nabiyev, Minister of Digital Development and Transport, and Mukhtar Babayev, Representative of the President of Azerbaijan on Climate Issues and President of COP29, participated as keynote speakers at the event.
The panel featured discussions on trade and investment prospects, the diversification of cooperation in these areas, the impact of geo-economic tensions on Azerbaijan’s economic diplomacy, the advancement of existing initiatives related to transport corridors passing through the country, and the factors determining Azerbaijan’s continued active participation in international climate diplomacy.
The speakers also responded to questions from the participants.
