AMBASSADOR OF AZERBAIJAN MET MINISTERS OF SAUDI ARABIA
During the meeting, Minister of Economics and Planning has in detail told about economic situation and prospects of development of the Kingdom, oil strategy of the country, has emphasized positive influence of increase of prices in the world oil market on the national economy, has touched economic reforms, questions of privatization.
Ambassador E. Arasly has noted, that the management of Azerbaijan attaches great importance to development of widespread cooperation with Saudi Arabia, has touched in this connection activity of the intergovernmental joint commission, has in detail told about economy of Azerbaijan Republic which alongside with scientific and technical potential, has gained notable economic accomplishments.
At the meeting with Minister of Justice, discussed were opportunities and prospects of expansion of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia, in the field of justice, arrangement on mutual visits of ministers of two countries. Having emphasized importance of expansion of cooperation between the ministries, the Azerbaijan diplomat has reminded of recent representation of Saudi Arabia of projects of corresponding agreements, having expressed confidence that their signing would promote development of relations between two countries.
Minister of Justice of Saudi Arabia has emphasized confidence that the projects of agreements submitted by Azerbaijan would be signed after discussion according to procedural rules.
