AMBASSADOR OF BELGIUM TO LEAVE AZERBAIJAN
As was informed into AzerTAj from the press center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ambassador Ian Mattson has thanked the Azerbaijan side for the help and fruitful cooperation during his diplomatic activity, has expressed hope for expansion and the further development of relations between Belgium and Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, minister Elmar Mammadyarov and ambassador Ian Mattson highly have estimated the meetings which have been carried out within the framework of working visit taken place in the last month of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev in the Kingdom of Belgium and signed documents, have noted, that the visit of businessmen of Belgium planned in this year to our country would give a new pulse to development of economic relations.
The head of foreign policy department Elmar Mammadyarov highly has estimated the work done by the ambassador in the field of expansion of links between our countries, having emphasized, that attaches huge significance to prospects of cooperation.
Having noted, that the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorny Karabakh conflict impedes the safety in region and development of economy of our country, the Minister has stressed necessity of activation of efforts of the international community in the field of peace settlement of the said question.
Then, minister Elmar Mammadyarov has wished the ambassador Ian Mattson successes in his further activity.
