AMUDARIA RIVER TO RUN AGAIN INTO THE CASPIAN
The region’s biggest Disneyland “World of Turkmen tales” will soon be launched in the southern part of Turkmen capital Ashkhabad, AzerTAj correspondent reports. The project will include construction of mini Kopetdag ridge, Karakum desert dunes, and Amudarya River that in ancient times flew into the Caspian Sea. Being built by Turkish Construction Company in accordance with President Saparmurat Niyazov’s decision, the unique $35 million worth park will start operating in mid-2005. Thirty seven national-style sideshows and a huge aquarium with unique fishes will also be available in the park.
