The Second Caspian Oil and Gas Trading and Transportation Conference is underway in Baku.

The event, whose organizers are Azerbaijan State Oil Academy and British Confidence Energy company brings together almost 150 experts from more than 20 countries from around the world to exchange views on the Caspian region’s oil and gas sector.

Speakers stressed the increasing role of oil and gas producers in the region, including Azerbaijan, in providing energy security of European countries and US.

The second day of the conference saw 11 presentations, and heard reports by representatives

from Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan and Russia.
