Azerbaijan's Chamber of Accounts elected to ECOSAI Board of Directors

Azerbaijan's Chamber of Accounts has been elected as a member of the Board of Directors of the Economic Cooperation Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ECOSAI) for a three year term (2016-2019) at the 7th Assembly and Symposium of ECOSAI member states in Ankara, Turkey.

Azerbaijan was represented by a delegation led by Deputy Chairman of Azerbaijan`s Chamber of Accounts Adil Maharramov.

Addressing the event, President of the Turkish Court of Accounts Seyit Ahmet Bas expressed his confidence that the event will contribute to strengthening the activities of ECOSAI.

The event heard the annual financial and activity reports of ECOSAI. The meeting also featured discussions on a strategic plan for 2016-2021, the signing of cooperation agreements between members of the organization of supreme audit institutions.

Head of the Azerbaijani delegation Adil Maharramov hailed the trainings conducted by the ECOSAI Secretariat.
