Azerbaijan's non-oil exports increased by 9 percent in January

In January of 2026, the non-oil exports of Azerbaijan amounted to $268.4 million, which is 9 percent more than in the same period of 2025, according to the February edition of the “Export Review” magazine published by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
During this period, exports of food products increased by 22.6 percent reaching $103 million.
According to the report, exports of individual products also rose compared to the same period of last year: sugar by 169.3 percent, cotton yarn by 137.6 percent, vegetable and animal fats and oils by 90.8 percent, aluminum and products made from them by 39.5 percent, fruits and vegetables by 32.1 percent, cotton fiber by 23.2 percent, tea by 20.9 percent, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by 14.2 percent.
During the reporting period, agricultural products exports surged by 32.6 percent to make $85.7 million, while agro-industrial products stood at $21.9 million. Overall, combined exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products increased by 23.8 percent to amount $107.6 million.
