Azerbaijan Airlines plans to open new flights
Baku, May 17 (AZERTAC). “Azerbaijan Airlines plans to launch six new flights from the Heydar Aliyev International Airport,” President of AZAL Jahangir Asgarov has told the Business Year magazine.
He said the flights would be launched to the cities of Nizhny Novgorod, Minsk, Krasnoyarsk, Perm, Kazan and Rostov.
"These towns are home to many ethnic Azerbaijanis, and leaders of regional diaspora organizations have repeatedly appealed to us with a request to open regular flights to these cities,” added Asgarov.
He also revealed plans to launch Ganja-Mineral Waters and Ganja-Antalya and internal Gabala-Nakhchivan flights.
