Azerbaijan becomes member of International Tunneling and Underground Space Association
Baku, June 9 (AZERTAC). The Azerbaijan Tunnel Builders' Union (ATBU) has been approved as a full-fledged member of the International Tunneling and Underground Space Association (ITA) at its General Assembly in Helsinki, Finland.
Presenting the international certificate to the Chairman of "Azərtunelmetrotikinti" Joint Stock Company and the Azerbaijan Tunnel Builders' Union Shaig Afandiyev, President of ITA In-Mo Lee said he supported the organiation`s ITA membership and noted that he would be satisfied with the collaboration.
Shaig Efendiyev said that Azerbaijan Tunnel Builders' Union was founded in 1992 as a non-for-profit organization.
ATBU is working closely with the organizations operating in the CIS and abroad.
