AZERBAIJAN CARRIES OUT EXPORT-IMPORT OPERATIONS WORTH $6.3 BILLION
According to the State Statistics Committee, Azerbaijan carried out export and import operations worth $6.3 billion with 130 foreign countries in January-July this year. Exported goods accounted for $3.4 billion of the trade turnover while imported ones - $2.9 billion, thus, presenting a trade surplus of $525,500,000.
Foreign trade turnover picked up 6.2% while export and import surged 3.2% and 10.1% respectively.
Trade with the European Union accounted for 25.2% of export-import operations, CIS 26,9%, 47.6% other states. European Countries’ share in the overall trade turnover constitutes 44,4%, Asian nations’ share 46%, American countries’ share 9.3%, African nations’ 0.2%, Oceanian countries’ 0,1%.
81,7% of foreign trade operations were carried out with Russia, Italy, Turkey, Iran, Ukraine, USA, Germany, Kazakhstan, UK, Republic of Korea, Georgia, France, Brazil, China and Japan.
