Azerbaijan, Czech Republic discuss bilateral relations

Baku, April 17 (AZERTAC). Deputy Speaker of Milli Majlis, chairman of Azerbaijan-Czech Republic inter-parliamentary working group Valeh Alasgarov has today met a delegation led by Vice-Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament, chairman of the Czechia-Azerbaijan friendship group Jan Hamacek.

Valeh Alasgarov spoke on the history of the Azerbaijan-Czech Republic bilateral relations and stressed parliaments` role in this regard.

He noted that Azerbaijan and Czech Republic have great potential to develop cooperation in the fields of industry, culture, tourism, and health care.

Azerbaijani vice-Speaker stressed that reciprocal visits at various levels open new prospects for the comprehensive improvement of relations between the two countries.

The Czech Official hailed the close cooperation between the two countries in the international organizations, especially in the Council of Europe.

The sides also exchanged views on a wide range of issues, including development prospects of inter-parliamentary relations and exchange of experience in the field of law-making.
