Azerbaijan, Dubai discuss cooperation in the field of migration

Azerbaijani Consul General to Dubai Parviz Ismayilzade has met with Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs of Dubai Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri to discuss prospects for cooperation in the field of migration.
Ismayilzade highlighted the recent reforms in Azerbaijan`s migration system. He also provided an insight into the activities of the State Migration Service.
Ismayilzade spoke of the newly opened terminal of the Heydar Aliyev International Airport. He said Azerbaijan is interested in studying Dubai`s experience in the field of migration, particularly application of e-services like visa-online and eye scan and e-gate systems.
Ahmed Al Marri expressed readiness to assist Azerbaijan in applying migration-related systems in Azerbaijan. He invited chairman of Azerbaijan State Migration Service Firudin Nabiyev to visit Dubai from October 18-20.
