Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency experts share experience with their Uzbek colleagues

The visit of the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency’s (AFSA) delegation to Uzbekistan continues.
The visit aims to share Azerbaijan’s experience for application in a new state institution to be established in Uzbekistan in the field of food safety.
During the trip, the Azerbaijani delegation toured the laboratory of the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Well-Being and Public Health of Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Health.
They also reviewed the laboratory capabilities, infrastructure, and staffing of the Republican State Center for Diagnostics of Animal Disease and Food Safety, and the Republican Agrochemical Analysis Center of the Plant Quarantine and Protection Agency. During the meetings, the Azerbaijani delegation shared experience of the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency, also exchanging insights with their Uzbek counterparts.
