AZERBAIJAN, FRANCE EXPAND PARLIAMENTARY TIES

Bahar Muradova spoke of historically existing ties between the two countries that during the independence years have acquired intensive development, noting exclusive merits of the nationwide leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev. By establishment of diplomatic relations Azerbaijan and France have
signed some 20 important documents, she stressed. Developing are trade relations between the two countries, expanding are cooperation in the energy sphere.

Bahar Muradova congratulated the guests with the successful presidential elections in France, expressing hope that friendship and cooperation between the two countries would develop further.
Touching upon the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the Vice-Speaker of Milli Majlis said that France as a co-chair of the OSCE MG can do a lot in solution of this problem.
Head of the French Senate’s France-Caucasus Friendship Group Ambroise Dupont with satisfaction noted that the ties between parliamentS of Azerbaijan and France are developing and gave high assessment to the role of Working Group.
