Azerbaijan, Honduras discuss commercial partnership
Baku, May 10 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov has met a Honduran delegation led by Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Mireya Aguero de Corrales to discuss ways of expanding commercial cooperation between the two countries.
The Azerbaijani Minister highlighted the country’s social and economic accomplishments under President Ilham Aliyev in the last years. Sharifov also informed the Honduran Minister about infrastructure projects, the non-oil sector progress and favorable business and investment environment in the country. The Azerbaijani Minister noted the country was an active participant of regional and international projects and played an immense role in ensuring the energy security in Europe.
Honduran Minister of Finance Wilfredo Cerrato hailed his country`s partnership with Azerbaijan as successful. Cerrato said there was good potential to strengthen this partnership.
The issues of stock market, medical insurance, energy and financial cooperation were also discussed during the meeting.
