Azerbaijan, Hungary discuss culture and tourism cooperation
Baku, December 3 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev met Friday Hungarian ambassador Jolt Chutora.
Garayev praised the level of relationship between Azerbaijan and Hungary. The Minister noted good potential existed to expand bilateral cooperation in the spheres of culture and tourism.
Garayev stressed the importance of the recent visit of Hungarian President Pal Schmitt to Azerbaijan in terms of strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
The Minister proposed opening an Azerbaijan-Czechia-Hungary route for increasing tourist flow between the two countries.
Ambassador Chutora extended his congratulations on Azerbaijan`s victory in the “Eurovision-2011” song contest, describing this success as a great opportunity for promotion of the country`s tourism potential.
The Hungarian ambassador also invited Azerbaijani delegation to the 17th Danube Carnival to be held next year in Budapest.
They also discussed relevant regional projects and programs.
