Azerbaijan, Indonesia discuss prospects for cooperation
Baku, April 17 (AZERTAC). Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Artur Rasizade has met an Indonesian delegation led by chairman of the parliament`s House of Representatives, Marzuki Alie.
The discussions focused on prospects for development of relationship between Azerbaijan and Indonesia.
Marzuki Alie praised the ongoing development process in Azerbaijan. He said the purpose of the Indonesian delegation`s visit to Azerbaijan was to hold negotiations on how to boost relations between legislative bodies of Azerbaijan and Indonesia, as well as bilateral cooperation in economic and cultural areas. Alie added the visit would serve to expand Azerbaijan-Indonesian ties. He also said Indonesian businessmen were interested in investing in Azerbaijan`s economy.
Prime Minister Rasizade, in turn, said the Azerbaijani government would create all conditions to deepen relations with Indonesia. The Prime Minister thanked official Jakarta for supporting Azerbaijan`s position in international organizations. Rasizade also briefed the Indonesian delegation on Armenia`s aggressive policy against Azerbaijan.
