Azerbaijan, North Macedonia sign MoU on sports cooperation

A delegation led by North Macedonia’s Minister of Sport Borko Ristovski is visiting Azerbaijan.
As part of the visit, the delegation visited the Alley of Honors to pay tribute to National Leader Heydar Aliyev, architect and founder of the independent Azerbaijani state.
The delegation subsequently met with Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov. Prior to the meeting, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of North Macedonia signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in sports.
The meeting focused on prospects for sports cooperation between the two countries. The sides also exchanged views on expanding the exchange of experience and exploring opportunities to implement joint initiatives.
