Azerbaijan, OSCE discuss cooperation
Baku, April 15 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan’s Commissioner for Human Rights Elmira Suleymanova has met the OSCE Project Coordinator in Baku Alexis Chahtakhtinsky to discuss relations between the country and the organization.
They particularly exchanged views over cooperation in the field of human rights. Ms. Suleymanova noted Azerbaijan attached great importance to cooperation with the OSCE in the field of human rights.
She provided an insight into the activities of the Ombudsman Office.
Ms. Suleymanova proposed holding joint workshops for government agencies, NGOs and the media, inviting experts to international awareness raising events, and sharing experience.
Mr. Chahtakhtinsky said the OSCE Office in Baku was interested in cooperation with the Ombudsman Office.
