AZERBAIJAN PARTNER TO HUNGARY IN ENERGY SECURITY
Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Mrs. Kinga Goncz told a joint news conference in Baku her country is keen in export of energy carriers via diverse sources. And there are large cooperation opportunities in this sphere, she stressed.
Noting that Azerbaijan became closer to Europe as the European Union expands and the country is an important partner to EU, the Hungarian Minister said her country also backs Azerbaijan’s participation in Nabukko project.
As stated, the two foreign ministers had exchange views on numerous aspects of bilateral relations. Opening of Hungary’s embassy in Azerbaijan would be useful from this point of view, Mr. Mammadyarov noted.
FM of Azerbaijan updated on the negotiations carried out for settlement of Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict. He thanked to Hungarian side for support of territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
The Ministers stated on the reached agreement on economic relations and mutual protection of investments.
