AZERBAIJAN PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVED CREDENTIALS FROMNEWLY APPOINTED AMBASSADORS
The Ambassadors conveyed warm greetings from the heads of their states to President Ilham Aliyev. They stated that it was a great honor to them to head their countries diplomatic missions in Azerbaijan. The diplomats assured the Azerbaijani leader that the would do their best to promote further development and deepening friendly relations of their countries with Azerbaijan.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev congratulated the Ambassadors on their new appointments and wished them every success in the office.
The President further noted in particular that Azerbaijan had established very good relations with all of these countries, and expressed hope that they would be even strengthened in the future.
Azerbaijan has managed to take a worthy place in the global community, it is an active member of the international organizations, and is building mutually beneficial relations with all states, and this policy will be continued, the Head of State said.
President Ilham Aliyev also told of the economic progress in Azerbaijan, the world’s largest project being implemented here, and expressed hope, in this connection that all of this work would increase economic power of the country.
Touching upon the Nagorno-Karabakh problem, the President informed the Ambassadors on its hard consequences of this conflict, and stressed that its solution can be found only on the base of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and the international legal norms. I am sure that with involvement of the international community, this problem can be fairly solved in accordance with the international law, President Ilham Aliyev stated.
Present at the ceremony were Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov and Chief of the President Administration’s Foreign Relations Department Novruz Mammadov.
