AZERBAIJAN REINFORCES ITS PEACEKEEPING CONTINGENT IN AFGHANISTAN

The second 23-strong Azerbaijani peacekeeping contingent left for Afghanistan on Friday.

Deputy Defense Minister Chingiz Mammadov wished every success to peacekeepers and presented them gifts.

Azerbaijan has doubled its contingent in Afghanistan in accordance with President’s initiative and parliament’s approval.
