A meeting of the standing commission of the Milli Majlis for Social Policy Affairs was held on April 1. Members of the commission discussed draft laws “Humanitarian Cooperation Program between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation in 2004-2006”, “On State Duty” and “On Introducing Amendments and Supplements in Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Azerbaijan.”

Chair of the Commission Hady Rajabli said the Humanitarian Cooperation Program between Azerbaijan and Russia would strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the spheres of science, technology, and culture.

Following the debates, the Commission members have decided to submit the draft laws for discussion to the Milli Majlis.
