Azerbaijan showcases its reconstruction experience in liberated territories at WUF13 VIDEO

“Azerbaijan is showcasing its experience in restoration and reconstruction in the liberated territories to the international community during the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum,” Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture and WUF13 National Coordinator, told journalists.
The committee chairman emphasized that following the Second Garabagh War, Azerbaijan launched large-scale reconstruction and has made significant progress. He added that projects in the liberated territories offer valuable global experience, including planning, construction, institutional work, and population return.
Anar Guliyev noted that by sharing its experience at World Urban Forum 13, Azerbaijan presents its post-conflict urban planning and reconstruction approach.
He further stressed that the growing number of conflict- and disaster-affected areas worldwide makes post-crisis recovery a key priority, adding that Azerbaijan is ready to share its experience.
