Azerbaijan to launch "Cyber Diplomacy Twinning Center"

“The Special Communication and Information Security State Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA) and Romania's National Institute for Research & Development in Informatics signed a trilateral Memorandum of Understanding. Under the memorandum, the "Cyber Diplomacy Twinning Center" will start operating in Azerbaijan to promote research, teaching and skills in the field of cyber diplomacy,” said Ilgar Musayev, Head of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security, as he addressed the 1st International Conference on Cyber Diplomacy held in Baku.
“The Center aims to advance international collaboration and interaction in the area of cyber diplomacy, information security and digital governance through research and educational initiatives as well. Additionally, the Special Communication and Information Security State Service and Azerbaijan Technical University, and the Baku Higher Oil School inked Memorandum of Understandings on establishing the "Pest Analysis Laboratory" and the "Information Security Testing Laboratory", respectively. These projects will offer opportunities for students to develop and apply modern methods of information security, conduct joint research and experience exchange, and engage in real projects," he added.
