Azerbaijan, Trendyol exchange views on current challenges and trends in e-commerce

Elnur Baghirov, Chairman of the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control, met with Hatice Yavuz, Trendyol’s Head of Regulations, to discuss the evolving landscape of the digital economy.

The meeting focused on the development of the digital space, the advantages of entrepreneurial activities online, and the influential role of institutional players like Trendyol in expanding e-commerce while safeguarding consumer interests. The parties highlighted that digital commerce significantly increases accessibility and ensures the "right of choice" for consumers by diversifying the market.
The Trendyol delegation was briefed on the State Agency’s ongoing measures to maintain a fair competitive environment.
