Azerbaijan, Turkey: further development of relations discussed
Baku, Sept 20 (AZERTAC). As earlier reported, on 19 September, Ankara hosted the presentation of a book titled "Rising Star of the South Caucasus: Azerbaijan during the period of Ilham Aliyev".
Azerbaijan was represented at the event by a delegation which included Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan, head of the foreign relations department Novruz Mammadov, Director of SAM Farhad Mammadov, fellow of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan Mehman Aliyev and head of the SAM press service Mehriban Hasanova.
In the frame of presentation, PA official Novruz Mammadov had a series of meetings with Turkish officials, including with the foreign minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu, head of PA of the Republic of Turkey Mustafa Isen, GNAT deputy speaker Sadik Yakut and deputy chairman of ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) Movlud Chavushoglu.
The sides focused on the questions of realized joint projects, the friendly bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as the future steps to be jointly taken.
At the conclusion of the presentation, Novruz Mammadov gave interviews to some media bodies, presented the book "Rising Star of the South Caucasus: Azerbaijan during the period of Ilham Aliyev" to the Turkish officials, answered many questions related to Azerbaijan’s political, socio-economic development and the quick progress the country achieved in latest decade.
