Azerbaijan, Ukraine to lock horns for Nakhchivan wrestling cup title
Nakhchivan, May 5 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan will take on Ukraine in the final of the Nakhchivan Cup youth freestyle wrestling tournament at the Olympic Sports Complex after Ilham Aliyev in the city of Nakhchivan on Monday.
The tournament marks the 91st anniversary of Azerbaijani national leader Heydar Aliyev.
Azerbaijan reached the final after beating Turkey, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to top the Group A.
Ukraine topped the Group B, which pitted them against Nakhchivan, Russia and Georgia.
Uzbekistan and Georgia will define the holders of the 7th and 8th places, while Nakhchivan will face Turkey for 5th and 6th places.
Kazakhstan and Russia will contest the third place.
