Azerbaijan, United Arab Emirates discuss economic relationship

Baku, February 20 (AZERTAC). As part of his official trip to the United Arab Emirates, Azerbaijan`s minister of foreign affairs Elmar Mammadyarov has met his counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

The two discussed ways of boosting economic relationship and promoting joint investment projects.

The ministers also exchanged views on regional affairs. They stressed importance of expanding cooperation in the regional and international organizations, including the United Nations and Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

Mammadyarov briefed his counterpart on peace talks over the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The minister invited his counterpart to pay official visit to Azerbaijan. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan accepted the invitation.
