Azerbaijan women’s 3x3 basketball team rank second in Europe Cup

Baku, September 8, AZERTAC

The Azerbaijan women’s basketball team won the silver medal at the FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup held in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Azerbaijan secured the medal after losing 21:16 to the Netherlands in the final.

In the group stage, Azerbaijan defeated France 21:16 and Ukraine 21:14, advancing to the quarterfinals as group leaders. In the quarterfinals, the team overcame Poland 16:13, and in the semifinals, they beat Spain 21:17.
