Azerbaijani chess players to compete at Vienna Open–2015

Azerbaijani chess players will compete at the Vienna Open-2015 international tournament due to kick off later today in Austria.

A tournament includes 457 chess players, including 20 grand masters. In this group Azerbaijan will be represented by Nargiz Umudova. The games will be held in 9 rounds with CH-system.

C tournament will see competition of 86 chess players, including Azerbaijani Huseyn Aghayev, Rashad Gasimov, Tofig Ismayilov, Rasim Gafarli and Rustam Gafarli.

Other Azerbaijani chess players Riad Ismayilov, Kamilla Israfilova, Azim Kazimov, Uzeyir Mustafayev and Nihad Teymurlu will play in D tournament.

The Vienna Open-2015 will also feature a game between Azerbaijani grandmaster Shahriyar Mammadyarov and Austrian Marcus Ragger.
