Azerbaijani delegation attends SCO Forum on People-to-People Friendship

An Azerbaijani delegation led by Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis Ziyafat Asgarov is participating in the 2025 Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Forum on People-to-People Friendship and the Forum on Friendship Cities, both of which opened on Friday in Shenyang, the capital of northeast China’s Liaoning Province.
The forum is held under the theme "Deepening People-to-People Friendship, Advancing Sustainable Development."
Co-organized by the Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation Commission of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Liaoning Provincial Government, the event brings together more than 400 participants, including officials from SCO member states, observer and dialogue partner countries, as well as representatives of government authorities, public organizations, research centers, and scientists.
