AZERBAIJANI DELEGATION OF WOMEN ATTENDS FORUM OF BUSINESSWOMEN IN TURKEY
The delegation of the Azerbaijani businesswomen is taking active part at the first Forum of the International Businesswomen started on March 13 in Mersin, Turkey.
Speaking at the event Sadagat Gahramanova, Deputy Chair of the State Committee for Family, Women, and Children’s Affairs, said women had to take an active part in the public administration.
She underlined that favorable conditions had been created for women in Azerbaijan. So, a special state committee to deal with problems of women and family was set up in Azerbaijan, under a relevant order of nationwide leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev.
Kurshad Tuzmen, State Minister of the Republic of Turkey, making a speech at the event said that involving women in the public administration and business is in Turkish government’s focus of attention.
He also said such kinds of events increases the level of women’s business activity.
