Azerbaijani deputy justice minister meets with PACE committee chair

Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Justice Togrul Musayev has met with a delegation led by member of Island’s parliament, chair of the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Thorhildur Sunna.

The sides exchanged views on the issues of mutual interest, including human rights and the execution of resolutions of the European Court of Human Rights.

Togrul Musayev highlighted reforms implemented in Azerbaijan to strengthen the protection of human rights and rule of law. He also spoke of over one million Azerbaijanis who suffered as a result of Armenia’s military aggression.
