Azerbaijani Embassy in Egypt conducts charity campaign
Cairo, April 11 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani Embassy in Egypt and Qalyubia Governorate have carried out a charity campaign for orphans in Banha.
Addressing the event, s Ambassador Shahin Abdullayev said the Azerbaijani nation had a tradition to help people in need. He praised the role of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and its President Mehriban Aliyeva in helping children in Egypt.
The diplomat said the Heydar Aliyev Foundation paid special attention to the school after Mehriban Aliyeva in Egypt.
Qalyubia Governor Mahammad Abduzzahir thanked Azerbaijan`s Embassy, and expressed confidence that the bilateral ties between the two countries would further develop. The Governor said Azerbaijan had always supported Egypt in its hard times.
The Embassy presented gifts to the kids, and organized a dinner and a concert for them.
