Azerbaijani FM meets Albanian counterpart
Baku, December 18 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has met Albanian counterpart Ditmir Bushati, who attended the Shah Deniz 2 Final Investment Decision Signing Ceremony in Baku.
Mammadyarov thanked the Albanian counterpart for supporting Azerbaijan`s just position.
The Minister stressed the necessity of withdrawal of the Armenian armed forces from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan for ensuring peace and sustainable development in the region.
In turn, Bushati said Albania was interested in development of bilateral relations with Azerbaijan.
The two ministers also hailed the Azerbaijan-Albania cooperation within the international organizations, and exchanged views on international and regional issues.
