Azerbaijani FM meets new Czech Ambassador
Baku, March 5 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has today met newly appointed Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the country Vitezslav Pivonka.
Mammadyarov congratulated Pivonka on his new appointment, and wished him successes in his activities.
They hailed the current state of relations between Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic, and stressed the necessity of expanding the cooperation in the fields of economy and tourism.
The FM and the diplomat noted that the interparliamentary relations played an important role in boosting the cooperation.
Pivonka noted he would spare no efforts to contribute to overall development of the Azerbaijan-Czechia ties.
The diplomat presented a copy of his credentials to Mammadyarov.
