Azerbaijani Mammadyarov 10th in FIDE ratings

Baku, April1 (AZERTAC). World Chess Federation, FIDE, has announced its latest ranking list for April 1, 2014, placing Azerbaijan`s grandmaster Shahriyar Mammadyarov 10th with 2760 points.

Other Azerbaijani grandmasters Teymur Rajabov (2731), Rauf Mammadov (2660), and Eltaj Safarli (2656) were listed 33rd, 85th, and 91st respectively.

Norwegian Magnus Carlsen remains the highest-rated human on the planet with 2881.
